Course Syllabus
This curriculum does not include a syllabus because each school, district, or academic institution tends to have its own unique requirements for content that needs to be included in course syllabi. In general, a course syllabus should include the following information:
- The course title, class location, brief description, number of credit hours, and other information about the course.
 - Instructor information, including contact information.
 - A general course outline. For more details you can include a link to the Student Lessons page.
 - Information about how students will be graded. We've created a Recommended Assessment page. Customize this approach as you see fit.
 - Class policies, including those related to attendance, plagiarism, class withdrawal, cell phone use, and others. Many schools and districts include specific language that needs to be included.
 - A statement inviting students who have disabilities to discuss academic needs. An example of such a statement is "If you have a disability and wish to discuss academic accommodations, please contact me as soon as possible."
