CLICK HERE to see what your final video should look like. I chose the word landscape and a picture of landscape. You will probably choose something different.
(1) Drag a picture or video onto a video track
(2) On a new video track Insert text that relates to the picture or video in some way. Make sure you use black background and white letters for your text. Your text should be nearly the height of the screen and nice, thick font (I used Impact). Don't worry if you cannot read the word left to right because it goes off the screen.
(3) Make sure your text track is on top of the video/picture track.
(4) Animate your text so that it slides across the screen, right to left.
Press the button circled in blue to get back to the generated media (text) properties.
While the first keyframe is selected (the one in green) move your text offscreen to one side. Then double-click at the end of your timeline (where red is circled) and you will have created another keyframe. Drag the text offscreen to the other side.
(5) On the text track, press the green Compositing Mode button. Choose Multiply(Mask).
(6) You're done, play and enjoy.
(7)Render as WMV 100kbps and email it to me.
