In this version of the teleporter effect, we'll allow both of the subjects to teleport out of the scene individually. REQUIREMENT: both subjects must remain pretty much still and not get into each other's frame.
(1) During the taping have both subjects pretend to initialize their teleport at different times. Make sure that they don't move too much and are not too close together. Make sure not to move the camera after they walk out of the frame. Record about 30 seconds of background after they walk out.
(2) Trim off the beginning if they walk into the scene. Trim off the end when they walk out.
(3) Make a copy of the clip where the subjects are standing and pretending to teleport. Stack them one on top of another as seen below.
(4) Put the clip of the background below the other two.
(5) Select the middle track and we'll create a mask around the person on the right. Check the mask button. Select the Anchor Creation Tool. Set points all around around the subject on the left (cooler on stool in this example).
(6) Repeat for the subject on the left (using the top video track)
(7) Insert Track Composite Video envelopes for the top two tracks (ones with masks).
(8) Keyframe the individuals so they teleport out at different times.
(9) Put your name on the bottom left of the video.
(10) Render as WMV 100kbps
