Capture Problem

I sometimes get a peculiar capture error when capturing from the big record deck.

I have no clue what causes it.

Error specifics:

• It's a two frame error.
• Frame 1: garbled video, huge audio squech
• Fame 2: audio squelch for 1st 10% of the frame.

Spotting the error: Short of carefully watching the entire event, the only way to find these frames if by the waveform. When zoomed out a bit (this is a nine minute segment) you can spot the error by the narrow maxed-out waveform . I've indicated 3 glitches below.

Solution:

• Frame 1: delete
• Frame 2: delete audio, but leave video.
