Transparent Name Graphics

THE PROBLEM:

If you make a name graphic in Fireworks and set the canvas to transparent, you might think you're all set.

However, when you drag the graphic into Dreamweaver, you'll see that the graphic DOESN'T have a transparent background.

You'll obviously ONLY notice this is you change the Dreamweaver background to something besides white.

THE SOLUTION:

In Fireworks use the Optimize panel

Make sure that Alpha Transparency is selected.

Then File>Export to your web folder.
